The guide
Founder of WAY-POINT and mountain guide
“I don’t just want to get you to the summit. I want to show you a place that makes you want to keep going.”
Why this way
So the guide has time for everyone, and you have time for the mountains. Group size: [ADD GROUP SIZE].
Every route is led by a guide who specialises in exactly that kind of mountains. We study the route in advance: the track, weather, acclimatisation, bail-out points and a backup plan.
Before the trip we talk: experience, fitness, worries. The route fits you, not the other way round.
We sort out fitness and gear in advance — so in the mountains you can think about the mountains.
Questions before the trip, the journey, the route itself — we’re there at every stage, not only on the trail.
WAY-POINT’s founder Nikita has spent about five years in the mountains as a guide, climber and trail runner.
From the road
A journey is more than a summit. Coffee on the stove at six in the morning, music on the road, talks in the tent — and people who become friends within a week.
Before you go
6 steps from the first message to the first step on the trail.
Send the form or message me on Telegram. We have a call and pick a route for your experience and goals.
An honest look at your fitness and what’s worth improving before the trip.
I send a list and help you work out what you actually need.
Tickets, documents, questions. I’m in touch until departure.
We meet the group at the start and check gear and plan.
Then comes the route it was all for.

Yes. There are easier routes for a first time, where the main thing is walking a few hours a day at your own pace. Before the trip we’ll have a call: I’ll ask about your experience and fitness and tell you honestly which route suits you. Routes for a first time: [ADD ROUTES FOR BEGINNERS].
It depends on the route: regular activity is enough for a trek, altitude needs endurance. Each route page lists its requirements. If you’re unsure, we’ll talk it through. Training notes: [ADD TRAINING NOTES].
Every route page has a packing list. After you sign up I’ll send a detailed checklist and help you work out what you really need and what can stay at home.
For a trek — good boots, a backpack and layered clothing. Summit climbs add technical gear: crampons, an ice axe, a harness — the list depends on the route. Gear rental: [ADD RENTAL INFO].
In the mountains, decisions follow the weather, not the schedule. If it’s unsafe, we wait, change the plan or turn back — the summit isn’t going anywhere. Reserve days: [ADD RESERVE DAYS].
Yes. The group gets to know each other before the trip, and in the mountains everyone quickly becomes friends. Room sharing if you travel solo: [ADD ROOM SHARING].
It depends on the route — details are on its page. [ADD ACCOMMODATION].
Every route page has two lists: what’s included and what isn’t. Payment terms: [ADD PAYMENT TERMS].
After you write, we have a call, choose a route and talk through your fitness and gear. From then on I’m in touch until departure and during the trip.
Small — so I have time for everyone. Exact size: [ADD GROUP SIZE].
